9 steps to becoming an

Independent Solar Consultant

with the

BEST SOLAR ENERGY PROVIDER

1. how to join the powur platform

Joining the platform is as easy clicking the link below and signing up! You can also email us at ManoloBard@SunbrightNet.com to answer all the questions you may have.

"The secret of getting ahead
is getting started."
— Mark Twain

Once you sign up with Powur, follow the guidelines in the welcome material provided on the email:

  • take the on-boarding quiz;
  • set up your back office and e-Wallet;
  • get familiar with our platform;
  • and join our daily live online training sessions

2. define your purpose

When defining your purpose, make sure it's outside of yourself and bigger than you.  That means a purpose that does not have to do with you will be more powerful — we tend to be less flexible when we feel accountable to someone or something else (a cause) that goes far beyond our comfort zone.

When the going gets tough, your purpose will inspire you to push through.
"We know what we are,
but we know not what we may be."
— William Shakespeare

3. build your list

A solid foundation of warm market prospects will help you launch your home based Solar Energy Provider business.  There are two things we do in this business, sell solar and build and develop teams.  Sort out a list of all the homeowners you know and the people you would enjoy working with — this will be your most valuable resource to launch your new solar business.
Use this list to jog your memory.
  • Friends
  • Neighbors
  • Relatives
  • Church
  • Coaches
  • Teachers
  • Coworkers
  • Bartenders
  • Store Clerks
  • Realtors
  • Social Media
  • Business Contacts
"I'd rather have 1% of the effort of 100 men than 100% of my own effort."
 — J. Paul Getty

4. practice your talking points

Having access to the best tools and materials means nothing if we don't use them. Once you study the material and feel comfortable with the knowledge base, make it yours.  In other words, make sure you've defined the proper language you feel comfortable using and which easily flows out when introducing the solar concept to your customers and warm market.

Remember, this could take some time. In the meantime, use your mentor and learn from the way his/her presentation is delivered, so you can start forming your own style.  Don't rush — You make great money as a solar energy provider trainee and you will learn to master the process and proposal presentation with your coaching Mentor.  When in downtime, practice, practice, practice.
"Remember your six P's - Perfect Practice
Prevents Piss Poor Performance."
— Chuck Knox

5. choose a mentor and put massive action

A large pool of experts are readily available on the platform to assist you in starting your solar energy provider business — even if your sponsor is not yet qualified. The Mentor's role is key to getting you in the fast track of launching your business and help you earn your first checks with Powur.  You will learn how to:
  • properly conduct prospecting techniques
  • pre-qualify leads based on property conditions and homeowner credit
  • use platform and outside tools to gather required information
  • enter data in the system
  • request and modify a solar proposal tailored to customer wants and needs
  • give a professional solar presentation and discuss proposals
  • answer most common procedural and technical questions
  • properly train new team members
  • use social media and other marketing platforms to increase your pipeline
  • stamp your footprint as a leader in the industry
  • become an expert solar mentor

6. work at your own pace

You can use as many mentors of your choice as you deem necessary to accumulate all the knowledge you need, for as long a you wish — until you feel comfortable on your own. Once you've identified a Mentor you wish to work with, take decisive forward force without hesitation — it will determine the pace you will need to gain momentum in your business.
"Mentoring is a brain to pick, an ear
to listen, and a push in the right direction."
John Crawford Crosby

7. sell solar and share the opportunity

More than a simple process, it's a habit — a lifestyle.  You start a conversation that anyone who pays bills will quickly engage in.  Learn your value proposition and talking points to sell a free solar proposal and/or a business opportunity meeting.

It is an exhilarating sentiment to know you are finally in business for yourself, in a new venture with incredible income potential — working from home.  However, keep in mind that there is no pressure and no rush for you to know everything at once.  Your determination, drive and work ethic will lay the groundwork for your exciting and lucrative new business venture. Simply follow the business plan and learn from your mentors. Everything is laid out for you with technical support and ongoing training.  When in doubt, ask.
Once you've created a habit to gravitate towards a business conversation when appropriate, the rest is easy.  Just repeat the formula over and over.  Plug into the system, sell solar and share the opportunity.

8. change your mindset

Remember that cliché? You're in business for yourself, but not by yourself?   Well that's exactly right. At Powur you are not alone.  There's a huge team learning, working, training and motivating alongside you 24-7.  Self motivated people have an entrepreneurial spirit and don't need a boss telling them what to do.  Changing your mindset to that of a business owner and learning to prioritize and time management skills — will pay off to help keep a balance between business and family time.
“I think anything is possible
if you have the
mindset and the will and desire
to do it and put the time in.”
